One of the high points of 2019 was staging the inaugural Mike Mongo’s Astronaut Job Fair at Atlanta Science Festival. We had a full day of events and I believe more than a few students were empowered to pursue their own careers in Space and astronautics. Special thanks has to go out to Pitsco Education for the mission supplies. The students absolutely loved firing off straw rockets. It as one of those special surprises where kids remind you why we loves Space and science. I was completely won over by how excited the students were during the entire process of creating and launching these Pitsco straw rockets. FYI, fellow STEAM educators!
